Impressionless Scanning

Do you hate sticky impressions?  Well we have a secret….so do we!  We are so proud to announce that we recently updated to impressionless scanning using the iTero system.  The iTero is a digital scanner used to take impressions for records, braces, appliances, Invisalign, and retainers with a simple wand.  Scanning is much more detailed and accurate than our old impression system and also much easier for you!

How Does it Work?

  1. Scanning- Our orthodontic assistants scan your teeth, tissues, and unique bite using the iTero wand.
  2. Review- We can instantly visualize your scan and 3D models on our iTero screen.  We are able to make any needed adjustments, discuss your individual needs, and even update portions of the scan as we see fit.
  3. Treatment Plan- Dr. Hall reviews your scan and records.  Your scan is sent for appliance fabrication based on your unique needs.  If you are an Invisalign patient your trays can be custom fit from your initial scan!
  4. Use- We can begin your treatment much faster and easier as we eliminate the need to ship any models out of the office.  Your appliances will be returned to our office in as little as 2 weeks.  We can’t wait to begin your journey to a healthier smile.
